The Mission San Juan, also known as San Juan Capistrano, was founded by Spanish Catholics of the Franciscan Order in 1731. It served as a fully self-sustaining community for many years. Located along the San Antonio river in San Antonio, Texas, Mission San Juan is one of four missions that comprise the San Antonio Missions National Historical Park.

There is something magical about capturing a moment in time with a photograph. Having lived in several parts of the United States I am continuously awed by the stunning diversity found in nature, and the majesty that is evident in unique architecture. As I have been blessed with the opportunity to travel I try to capture the special beauty that sets each new location apart from every other.
